These days families are looking at animals retail sales and breedings, a new pet that is small, friendly and whose maintenance is not expensive. The dog that meets these characteristics is the Toy Poodle, a dog that is currently the most popular breed.
Features:
Several factors influence the purchase decision, these animals are relatively inexpensive because they donīt consume too much food, rather stick to the owner and to the children, they are cute, tender and they can easily live in small spaces like in an apartment. The Toy Poodle has curly or corded hair. It is anatomical and of small proportions. They are usually white. It is a highly intelligent dog that is constantly in alert and very active. Their anatomy makes them harmonious, reflecting elegance and nobility. One feature of the breed is unknown, is that they are guardians. Although they are considered companion dogs rather than watch, they have the ability to point out to its owner the interruption of some unknown. The Toy Poodle is an excellent companion for children, elderly or disabled persons, as recommended by professionals.
Origin:
It is believed that the early stages of the race emerged in Africa. It is possible that the Toy Poodle descends from the North African Barbet, which was introduced by the Arabs in the Iberian peninsula where it was crossed with the Portuguese water dog. Then it spread throughout Europe, but it was introduced and popularized especially in France where it gained great notoriety as the French royalty used them as a companion pet. As a result, in 1936, FCI officially recognized the mentioned country as the cradle of the race. It was known as the sheep dog and was used for waterfowl hunting. But his thick fur was a problem when brought the dam to the shore to their masters, thatīs why the latter decided to let their hair only in the chest area and tassels at their ends (areas vulnerable to cold water from lakes or rivers).
Later, the smaller specimens were begun to breed, which served the function of companion dogs.
Temperament:
This dog is known for having a great capacity for learning. Besides It is very obedient, respectful and loyal to his master. The poodle loves to play with children and show affection to their owners constantly.
Despite the naive belief that the poodle is a nervous dog belonging to a small breed, it reflects the behavior of the education provided by its masters.

Should also be shorn: the top and bottom of the snout, starting from the lower eyelids, cheeks, front and rear limbs, but cuffs and bangles and design options on the rump, tail, except a round or oblong terminal pompom . All dogs must wear a mustache. Hair is accepted as "pants" in the forelimbs.
Haircut "modern": Fur is supported in all four limbs with the express condition that they respect the following rules:
Be shorn:
a) The bottom of the front legs, from nails to the tip of the spur, and the underside of the hind limbs to a height equivalent. Shear is accepted by machine if it is restricted to the fingers.
b) The head and tail, according to the rules stated above. In this haircut exceptionally be accepted:
· The presence, under the lower jaw, a short section that is no longer than an inch thick, and whose bottom line must be cut parallel to the jaw. The call "goatee" will not be tolerated.
· The suppression of the pompom tail.
2. Short hair cut: On the body, to present on the dorsal line a hint of about 1 inch long at least. The coat length will be increased gradually over the ribs in the upper extremities.
3. Regularized coat:
a) The head, which presents a reasonable height helmet, as a neck, descending behind it to the withers, and leading without interruption to the shaved part of the foot, along a line slightly oblique arises the top of the chest. At the top of the ears, and even a third of its maximum length, the coat can be clipped with scissors or clipped in the direction of the hair. The bottom is covered with hair whose length increases progressively from top to bottom, to end in fringes which can be standardized.
b) On the legs pants that make a clear transition to the shorn part of the feet. Hair length increases progressively up to measure, over the shoulder and on the thighs, 4 to 7 cm when stretched hair. This measure must be proportionate to the size of the dog, though it must be avoided the appearance of "fluffy. The posterior pants should expose the angulation proper of the Poodle. Any touch of whimsy that apart from these regulations are subject to removal. Whatever the standard outline obtained as a result of the hair cut, it should not influence the classification at all exposures because all dogs of the same class should be judged and classified as a whole.
